• 3 pronged, while you could do that I wouldn’t recommend.

• It is a 3 prong and I believe there is a reason why APC added the ground prong, so will not recommend using it on an ungrounded GFCI. It will most likely mess up with the spike/surge control mechanism

• The power cord is 3 prong, so it would require an outlet that could accept a 3-prong plug. This unit could be plugged into an ungrounded GFCI outlet.
