Thank you for taking the time to review our UPS. I am sorry to let you know that you that the UPS BN450MNW does not have an user replaceable battery in it. We moved to that option because usually it is more cost effect to replace the entire unit instead of just the internal battery. Also with a new UPS you would get a 3 year manufactures warranty but with replacing just the internal battery you would only get a 2 year manufactures warranty on the internal battery. We will also be adding the option to generate a return label to send the UPS in for recycling. If you have other questions we offer email and chat services through our support site.
