all you have to do is go to nearest best buy shop and purchase the card yourself and send the code to your friend . or send your friend picture of the card

just buy it and send your friend the 25 digit code on the back of the card. iTunes only needs the 25 digit code to be added properly.

if you have a apple device you can send a family and friends money to their iTunes account if they have one set up already. They call it gift. that is the best way then just going to the store and buying a card and hoping it get to that country.

Itunes cards are in US dollars. Unless your friend has a US Apple ID, I don’t think it will work in another country.
