• In my understanding you can use the iTunes gift card instead of your credit card when buying some service with your alpleID / in iTunes. Once you get it you redeem it and it becomes a credit in your appleID account that you use when buying something thru iTunes or your Apple ID.

• Yes. The funds should be in your account on all your Apple products. I have an IPhone, IPad and Mac. I can see the amounts in my account on all 3 devices.
