“I have the IPAD 4 Model, It came with the lighting cable, but had since just basically falling apart, with this cable be right for my Device or should I get the shorter model.”

This is better than your standard issue cable. It’s longer!!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The length does not matter. I have had the orignal cord, a 6 ft cord, and a 9 ft cord......they ALL come apart. Ticks me off seing they are so darn expensive to start with. You would think APPLE would do a better job.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As long as your using the original box (portion that plugs into the outlet) it’s just a matter of personal preference. You shouldn’t see a difference in charging performance having a shorter vs longer cable if that’s what your concerned about.

If all you need/want is a 1 meter cable then this one is longer - if you need a longer cable this one meets that need but the "falling apart" issue will be the same with this longer cable. You might want to look for another brand that's more durable.
