Yes, they will pair with any Bluetooth device. There is a small button on the charging case that puts them in pairing mode so they can be seen by the other device. I believe the air pods need to be in the case and the case open when doing this. When you press the button, the green charging light will turn white and the air pods will appear in the other devices list of devices available to pair.

I really like my air pods. I use them for phone calls every day and they limit the amount of background noise a great deal over others I have tried.

They work on Bluetooth so they should work no problem. With the iPhone if you hold the AirPods in the case with the case open next to your iPhone a screen pops ups and tells you battery life in the pods and the charging case. I am not sure if that would be the same on an android.
