You can charge them with the regular usb charger as well

If you get the cheaper Airpods you can only charge them with the cable, if you get the 2nd/newer version you can use cable or wireless charger.

Yes you can charge these with the regular charging cable. The wireless charging is just a bonus but not needed.

It comes with the cable you just need the box. You can use your iPhone/iPads charger that’s what I do.
