 The answer is in your question. The difference between the wireless case and the regular case is the fact that you can charge the wireless case by placing it on a charging pad and not have to plug in a charging cable directly in to it but that is an option should you not have a charging pad.

The wireless one can be charged on a charging mat (it can also be charged with a lightning port), whereas the other case must be charged with a lightning port only.

If I’m understanding your question right, the difference between the two cases are to charge the wireless case you can use the traditional lighting cable or a wireless charging pad. The other case is just the standard lighting cable.
