• No. The audio is sent via Bluetooth which does not carry sufficient bandwidth for lossless audio.

• This seems to be a tough question, typically it is not possible to receive lossless quality across a Bluetooth signal but Apple does hold recent patents for a higher bandwidth Bluetooth process. Apple might be able to deliver a higher quality signal especially with lossless on Apple Music but i personally think in ear monitors will continue to be a better option for high end lossless listening.
