• Yes. I had this happen with 2 different sets and had to return both. Per Apple Support, my only options were to return to Best Buy or send to Apple for repair/replacement.

• No. May be a defect or not a solid ear fit?? Make sure you run a sound test to see if you need an adjustment or different sized ear tip. My Gen 1’s were starting to experience interference on the right earpiece after 5 years. I had seen comments about it as being a defect, but I chalked it up to wear and tear.

• Yes, that’s a big problem for pro 3, so bad than pro 2, never happened to pro 2. Apple is on the death path, doing the worst job.
