“If i put one of airtag in my company truck and my tech has an iphone will it let him know that there is one near by”

• I don’t believe so…you have to be connect to the AirTag initially and you ask Siri to find the AirTag and emits a sound…unless you connected your employees phone to it, and he knew to ask Siri to find it, I don’t see how he’d ever Know?!

• As far as i know no i’ve never had anybody mention anything about my airtag when im with them or in the same car as them the only way he’d be able to find out is if he has an iphone and taps identify found item which would basically just scan for any nearby airtags
