“Has anyone used these to track lost luggage? for example, you arrive in Paris and your luggage never left Amsterdam. Will it continue to track using local I phones?”

Yes, as long as another iPhone or iPad is within range it will continue to ping devices and update its location. Once you get closer you can have it play a sound to audibly track down your tag.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it should work. It won’t work while you’re on airplane mode but once you land it will start tracking. I used it on my trip from Texas to California. I also left one behind to track my car while I was away and it kept me updated on the location.
