• It can be use to track any thing once it is in the presence of the item stolen . But it will not make any noise , you will just be able to see the location of your missing item on your phone because it works by Bluetooth .

• Yes it will give you the vicinity or area where it is located, but you will have to look around for it. I keep one in my car so if it gets stolen I can find it. I have checked my phone and see where I left it, like parking and my phone led me straight to my car.
