• As long as they are not associated with another person’s Apple ID, they should register easily with yours. If needed, you can reset the device (not wipe the ID) by removing and reinstalling the battery 5 times.

• Mine was sealed you might take back. Unless it was an open buy which makes it cheaper

• Maybe it was a little bit less because it was open box. This items are not that sensitive and if someone bought and returned them it was maybe a matter of needing their money back of adaptability. It takes nothing from it being open box.
