“Do these headphones come with the volume / playback controls on the right earpod cable?”

• Yes there is a +/- controls on the headphone cable which is at the same location that the microphone is located at. Muting the microphone would be done from the mobile phone itself in the related application, such as the phone call app, FaceTime or Skype, etc.
