• These are Apple standard headphones and provide a microphone for phone calls, volume control. The headphones require you to use the lightning connector on your iPhone 6 vice the traditional headphone jack. The audio quality is not diminished.

• It has a microphone inline on the cord. I don't know what you mean by remote but the volume and typical earbud controls are inline with the microphone on the cable.
