“If I buy a geek squad refurbished pair does it come with AppleCare? Or do I have to get the geek squad insurance? Why isn’t it offered at checkout?”

• It does not come with AppleCare. Certified refurbished means that it’s been used before. With some pairs you will receive apple warranty, but not for too long. For example, I received one that expires in August.

• you’ll have to ask a representative if you’re in the store. it’s not likely that applecare is automatically added, because it’s a separate expense.
