Are these AirPods new or someone used them already null

After being made, they were chosen in manufacturing to make sure the quality of the AirPod gen3 work well. Once tested they sell the lot of AirPods tested. It’s why there’s many of them . All companies test products then sell them.

Likely that these have been used and returned for a defect of some sort - that’s when the geek squad refurbished these by checking what components needs to be replaced then resets to factory settings, certifies the quality meets minimum expected performance and sells as certified refurbished items.
