Unfortunately even if your 7 was in perfect condition you still wouldn't get much for it as a trade in. Some carriers like Verizon have a calculator on their website you can use to gauge the value for trade-ins but my advice would be to keep it as a backup to have on hand in case a situation arose in which you needed it.
