Will one time payment iPhone work in another country? I live in Russia and want to use Russian sim and use it there. If I make one time payment, does it mean that this iPhone is unlocked and can work with Russian sim ? null

No... Someone was trying to do this (for another country), while I was upgrading my online. Best Buy is not allowed to sell a phone outright, without connecting the phone to a plan.

The phone won’t be unlocked for 60 days.

These phones are universal, not unlocked. They will work with an USA based carrier but will lock to it as soon as the first SIM card is inserted. It is then up to that carrier to unlock the phone. If you want an factory unlocked iPhone, they should be purchased directly through apple.
