Yes, it does work with other wireless charges. But you wont get the full 15w unless you use the Apple Magsafe charger.

Works with other Qi chargers. I’m using that now as I haven’t gotten the MagSafe charger

Yes, you can use a Qi charger if you choose or you can still plug in the wire. Just remember, MagSafe is very different technology than Qi and charges faster. The magnets for MagSafe hold the case and the charger perfectly to accomplish the best charging speeds.
