If I buy it by one time payment, will it be unlocked? null

The only way to get an unlocked iPhone is directly from Apple.

I got my Iphone 12 max pro via best buy. I bought it under an ATT contract. I put my verizon sim in it and I was able to use my verizon acct with it. It can use my verizon and ATT sim cards. Thus, I suppose this means it's an unlocked phone. It can be used by any service you have a sim card for.
