My understanding is that 5G in the title just means it is 5G capable. Your phone is going to connect to whatever signal it can get (3G, LTE, 5G, etc.). Assuming Ring is for the Ring cameras; if your apps are backed up to iCloud, you should be able to restore from there - Apple has improved the transferring of data from one device to another on initial setup of new device.
