As of now, it is carrier locked. But Verizon has a policy that they unlock all of their devices 60 days after the first date of activation, considering you’ve paid your bill on time(s). After 60 days, there are no sim restrictions on your new device, and you may use any carrier of your choice. As long as they are esim compatible.

Please try again later.Hey, Best buy only sells the locked version of the iPhone, but you should be able take a Verizon iPhone 15 Pro Max to Verizon as a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). If the phone is locked to Verizon, it will automatically unlock 60 days after activation, as long as the device is not reported as lost or stolen. Fingers crossed this helps, my friend
