• iPhone Pro Max are all 100% eSIM now. There is no physical sim slot anymore. They do have 2 eSIM's available and will work in any country that has carriers that support eSIM's. If your carriers don't support eSIM, then do not buy a US iphone, because there is no way to use a physical sim with this device.

• If the carrier supports eSIM, yes. Otherwise if you need physical sim slots you will need to purchase from a country that sales the physical sim versions.
