I know it cost $200 with a new 2 year contract, but if my contract wasn't up but I still wanted to trade my galaxy in and get a credit for it could i apply the credit to the $200 and pay the difference? Or how does the whole trade in system work with the Iphone 6?”

As far as I know, yes, you can trade in your Samsung phone and start a new contract for iPhone with no money from your hand (iPhone 6 costs $199.99 w/ 2-year contract ). You may end up paying off your current contract (and the amount you pay vary depends on how long you are on your contract).
