• For another three or four years or more. Most games and apps for Apple phones were designed to run smoothly on iOS 8, iOS 9 and iOS 10. This phone updates to iOS 12. It would be foolish to release an app or game that requires iOS 13 as 20% to 30% of all Apple phones around the world in 2020 will be the iPhone 4, the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 6.
