Sometimes when they add on my webpage says $200 off it is for $200 off an iPad if you buy it with a Phone. I had an iPhone 5 and they use a Sim card from that to activate the app rating system on my iPhone 7 Plus so you might be able to use your straight talk Sim card in your new phone . Best thing is to call Verizon and ask him these questions. Also go to Best Buy and ask them lots of questions . If you if you buy the card in installments you can pay it off early and be able to upgrade. There is not a two-year contract when you buy a new phone through Verizon anymore . Also you often pay less if you buy it through the installment plan versus out right .
