I think if you buy an iPhone X you get the 8 free. If you want the 8 plus or another X you can do that, it just won’t be free. Verizon will charge you extra per month for the 8 plus or the X.. You get a $ 699 credit over 24 months with the 8. Whatever the cost difference is for the 8 plus is would divided by 24 and that would be added to your bill.
