• I have Verizon and purchased my iPhone 8 from Best Buy. I had an iPhone 7 and Best Buy emailed me a return slip to send Verizon my iPhone 7 back in which I did. And I still have the iPhone upgrade after the device is 50% paid off. As far as trading in your iPhone 6? Depends if you’re part of the iPhone upgrade program.

• I did not have to trade in my old phone and the upgrade program is 24 months I believe

• Not trading in my iPhone 6. I’ll sell it or keep it as insurance. Verizon is not giving me any incentive to upgrade. They used to, but quietly did away with program.
