A:AnswerAs of 18.11.2017 you cannot buy anywhere except online at retail price. BTW if you choose payment terms — Yes you should activate phone at the store: Verizon customer TOS ( Terms Of Service ) state you have Ninety ( 90 ) days to activate SIM ( not just WiFi ) or your full payment becomes due.
A:AnswerYes but more come in regularly. Right now (11/10/2017) Best Buy thinks the latest orders should be fulfilled by the 30th of the month! Likely they will be in much sooner though from how its been trending.
A:AnswerPersonal for me. Sometimes you get a better deal through Best Buy. A couple years ago they accepted my broke screen iPhone 5 at the full trade amount on an iPhone 6, saved me money, plus were offering a better deal. You still qualify for employer and military discounts through at least Verizon anyway. Also, when we've gone to the Verizon retail store (not Authorized Resellers, which we found were more expensive than Verizon) in the last few years, it's been very long wait times, and it's been faster at Best Buy. Not hard to find Best Buy around the country if help is needed. Gives you both Verizon stores and Best Buy if you need help with your phone.
Rewards does help of course, ($50 per $1000) and they're both good to deal with, so I think it amounts to personal preference. Which one's closer, offers the better deal, etc. As in the past, when it's time for a new phone, I'll shop around.
