A:AnswerNo, you shouldn't need a new contract unless you're planning to lease the phone, in which case you're locked in for the term length. We don't have a "contract" with Sprint, we can leave any time (and we would if any of the other major carriers could come close to the service price) but we did take advantage of their promotion for $150 (split over 24 months) off if you purchase the phone and finance (through Best Buy).
The promotions change so you'd need to go in or call Best Buy to find out what they or Sprint is running.
A:AnswerThat's the price for just leasing the iphone plus the phone plan that you pick whether single or family. If your on a single plane you might be looking at over $100. I have 6 lines so I get a discount. My first line is 65.00 for service plus my leasing fee which for my phone Samsung 8+ is 35.00, + insurance which you might want to get bc if your leasing the phone it can not be broken when you return or upgrade if not they will charge you the cost of the phone.
65.00 +35.00=100.00(this is on family plan single plan will be a little higher like maybe $5 more at least that's what it was before I got the family plan. )
Plus tax n service fees
insurance thru sprint is 19.00 for iphone(optional)
Plus services n fees (just that along I pay like $50 for 6 phone)
One of my iPhone monthly lease is 37.50 n my other one is 41.00. Just depends if you get it on sale or during a promotion.
