From Apple's website one comparing different carriers, they show only the Verizon on as being unlocked as the others are not. I'd say look there for the ones that are unlocked and not by carriers. If you would want to look further into this I'd recommend calling the carriers support lines.

Only as a reminder to get the apple care plan on the unit as currently, iPhone screen replacements are 200-300 on basic models. Now that the iPhone X is an OLED screen and its curved on the inside of the casing. It would be near impossible to repair at home with an Amazon kit.

The Verizon iPhone is not locked to Verizon but you still need to set up service with them to get one. FCC ruled that if Verizon wanted certain sprectrum from a wireless auction it would have to unlock all their phones by default.
