A:AnswerI’ve never had to do a credit check for a phone from Best Buy or Verizon. You can do a trade in of your old phone and pay less monthly for a two year contact with Verizon (Sprint and AT&T may be different). You should run over to Best Buy or Apple right away as they are having great deals for the iPhone XR right now, if that’s what your looking for.
A:AnswerThe most basic benefit of any iPhone over any Android phone by any manufacturer, including Samsung, is the operating system. Apple (iOS) has been extremely careful to protect user data and does NOT sell your information, including content of calls, emails or texts. They are a technology company while Google is an advertising company—YOU are the product. Anything they offer, from Android to Gmail, is designed to gather all possible data on users for sale to their customers. They do that very well and are wildly profitable, so you often see 2 for 1 and similar deals for Galaxy and other models. Think about it.
There is a reason there are more photographs taken any given day on iPhones than ALL other cameras of any kind—combined!
A:AnswerI just bought my XR and in reading the highlights, it does have Dual SIM support. However it also goes on to say that if you want to use two different carriers, then your iPhone must be UNLOCKED. Hope this helps you out.
A:AnswerWe have Verizon and purchased this phone. We just upgraded a line on our plan. I’m not sure about a prepaid plan, contact Verizon I am sure they will have the answer you are looking for.
A:AnswerI was told by the Verizon representative at Best buy that I could change to ATT in 60 days. I paid for my iPhone XR in one payment. I have not tried that so I can't say for sure.
A:AnswerThey gave me $150 on my 6s plus, but I kept it in a life proof case from day 1 and there was absolutely no damage. They told only $95 when they thought it was just a 6s. Good luck!
A:AnswerNo new account needed, but Verizon charged a one-time service fee of $40 for the switch. After that, your regular bills will be the same. I know this because that’s exactly what I did. You may want to have Verizon review your service and possibly give you a new plan that costs less and gives you more.
By the way, Best Buy’s support on activating my new phone on my account was GREAT!
A:AnswerIf you are doing monthly device payments it will be through Verizon. However, if you paid the full amount when you ordered the phone and used your Best Buy card then you will be paying it through Best Buy.
