“Is this case ultra thin, or thick like an Otterbox? Looking for an ultra thin case other than Dynex. thanks!”

This case is very thin. I bought it because I had the Otterbox and it was so bulky. This one is so much better.

The overall thickness of the case on the phone is about 3/8” The edge that wraps around the phone is 1/32”. You only have the screen protector that covers your phone. The Dynex case looks very similar. The specs are not called out except for the height on the Best Buy site. I have had Otterbox cases and they are a lot beefier. I really like this case because it is slim.

It's quite thin, clear and flexible. It is not an armored case by any means.
