If iPhone is unlocked and sim free it can be used. Also remember this has a dual sim and can have 2 different numbers from 2 different carriers in this phone

You will have to go through one of the carriers (AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint). Once phone is paid off and is unlocked, you will be able to use any sim you would like. But I would always ask the Mobile team with any other questions about it!
