It looks like it'll age well with time. Doesn't seem like it will flake apart and peel anytime soon. It's designed with some what of a concave shape so it goes right behind the phone. Depending on how many cards you carry and cash- feels as thick as an otter box when typing

It shouldn’t. I think it’s designed to perform well in folded position as well as closed covering the screen.

Nope! I haven’t had any damage. The leather seems to just wear nicely in the fold after a few weeks of use and becomes flexible enough to deal with it.

As is natural, the fold will start to show signs of wear the more you flip it open. However, I’ve had mine for a few months now, and it still looks like new when I have the case closed.

No, the Flap is loose and does it magnetically close but does have a sleep wake feature. The other feature I found was the reason The fliptop is a little loose is so when you take pictures or talk you slide it because the microphone is in the camera
