You need a different cord. If you have the charging cord that has a usb on the end that would work fine.

They make several devices that connect to your iPhone and allows you to upload and download pictures, movies, calander events, full back up of phone to an sd card or micro sd card. I have the one that uses the micro sd and love it. I have several cards with pictures from different events and this allows me to move them to multiple computers at the same time. Hope this helps!
