Will it transfer Garage Band or music files? null

If you are actually trying to move whole folders/files, i have not been able to do that. However, if you mean is it compatible with garageband, i use an external USB YETI mic with an iPad and it works FLAWLESSLY! Just connect the external mic to the adapter and the adapter to the iPad and Voila! Hope this Helps!

My experience has shown me that any file type you can normally transfer with a USB port can be transferred with this adaptor.
