• The trackpad replaces my mouse device. I use the trackpad in the same manner as I use the mouse. I use the trackpad to edit documents in Microsoft Word and when working with Microsoft excel spreadsheets. The trackpad has all the functionality I need to accomplish various task. Another reason I got the Apple Magic Trackpad is that it is aesthetically pleasing. This device fits in with all the other Apple products that I own.
