Does this charger work with Mac OS X 10.6? null

You would need to look at the model # of your mac which start with a letter A#### then you can look up that model # to see which charger would work best.

If you have your old cord you can take it with you to best buy like I did and they can help you. My MacPro uses OS X El Capitan 10.11 I also googled type of power cord for my particular Mac.

The charger is independent of which OS you are using, so Yes.
