• Yes it would work, but it’s overkill This MagSafe is 85W and is designed for the MacBook 15 & 17 inch, those require more wattage than your MacBook Air does,, It WILL work though but it’s not entirely recommended, plus it’s more expensive than the 45W MagSafe, which is the right model for your MacBook Air.
