Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, the iPad Air (4th Gen) doesn’t have the hardware to support this type of wireless charging. There are some keyboard cases that can use the 3 metal dots on the back of the iPad to pass through power to the iPad, but this accessory won’t charge the iPad. The MagSafe battery pack has only a Lightning port that can take in power. Plugging in a cable that connects the MagSafe pack Lightning port to the iPad USB would only charge the MagSafe pack.
