Yes, iPhones are universally capable of working with any carrier within the United States as well as abroad. The only limitation is if you get a hold of one that has not had the iamb EI unlocked. If you decide to purchase this and it arrives set it up, go into settings, general, about, then scroll down to look at the carrier lock status. If it says no Sim restrictions you are good to go The only time that phones are locked to carriers is when you buy them directly from the carrier.
