“Can you fold the keyboard cover to the back of the iPad when not using it and are the keys disabled when in this configuration or must you remove the folio to use in pure tablet mode.”

You can flip the keyboard behind the iPad and still use it just as a tablet. The keys are deactivated when in this mode.

Unlike the previous Smart Keyboard Case, though, the keys face backward, so you can feel them with your fingers when your hand is holding the device. They keys do not accept input in this mode.
