It folds down to cover keyboard first and then the screen of the iPad folds on top of that. It’s a layered cover. It does not protect the back of your iPad. That will be exposed. Hope this helps you!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It folds over to cover the screen. In fact it folds over itself so the keys aren't touching the screen when folded. Very well designed keyboard case, of the 3 I've purchased, this is by far the best.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The keyboard when fully closed, folds over the ipad screen. When closed, it does not cover the back of the ipad. If you fold it so that it covers, the back, the screen is uncovered. When in typing mode, the keyboard part of the keyboard folds under the ipad sitting at a fixed angle allowing you to type.
