Can i play a music cd on here? null

Yes. You can play music discs with it. If you are using a Macbook Pro make sure you are using a regular usb to c adapter . The disc drive will not run when plugged into the Hyperdrive DUO Hub adapter. I kept getting a "Needs power. Please plug device into Macbook" message.
