• With a USB A female to USB C male adapter/dongle.

• You need an adapter. And it has to be the apple adapter. Generic adapters result in an error message that says the drive isn’t getting enough power.

• The Apple Superdrive cannot connect to a USB-C port as this is USB-A. A USB-A female to USB-C may be needed.
