“I have a MacBook Pro 2018. Would I be able to watch DVDs with this drive? I purchased an LG that supposedly comes with software to install on my Mac so I can watch movies but it doesn't work.Will this allow me to watch my DVDs?”

• Hey NSal, I have a 2016 MacBook Pro and all I had to do to get this to work with it was to use a USB-A to USB-C dongle. Once you plug this USB SuperDrive into your computer, it should allow you to play basically any video file found on the disk. Hope this helps! -E

• Well I have an older Imac, And all I had to do was plug it in. I popped in a DVD and it started running, Does MP3's too.
