No. It has a regular usb cord. You can use it with a usb-c port only if you use it with an adapter. It worked perfectly for me with a usb-c adapter.

Well I'm not sure what that entails, but the connection is the standard USB plug, it can not be reversed it can only plug in one way. I'm not sure what the difference is other then the plug can connect either way. I hope this helps.
